1 CSA bag of string beans, washed, trimmed, and cut into 1 inch pieces
3 large cloves of garlic, chopped fine
2 Tbs olive oil
2 heaping tsp ground fresh holiday herb mix – (see How To Use Holiday Herb Mix)
1/4 cup braising liquid (I used a vegetable stock) (see How To Braise Vegetables)
1/4 cup golden raisans
1 Tbs sesame seeds
salt and pepper to taste
Cook pasta according to package directions.
In a heavy skillet, heat the olive oil over medium high heat.
Braise the green beans until almost done.
When most of the braising liquid has evaporated, add the garlic and saute until fragrant.
Add the golden raisins and herbs and saute for about two minutes.
Turn off heat.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Serve over pasta of choice.
