1 clam shell blackberries
1/4 cup or more agave syrup
2 pinches of good quality salt
vanilla ice cream
chopped walnuts (optional)
Place the blackberries in a 4 cup glass measuring cup. Using a bean masher, mash the berries well.
Add 2 pinches of salt and the agave syrup. Add more syrup if you want it to be sweeter.
Serve over vanilla ice cream and top with walnuts.
