- 2 cups, washed, loosely packed stemmed fresh basil
- 1/2 cup walnuts or pine nuts
- 2 cloves fresh garlic
- 1/4 olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2-4 Tbsp. Water to thin out
- Sea salt, to taste
- Put the basil, nuts and garlic in the food processor and process.
- Then add oil, a little water, lemon juice and sea salt.
- Process again.
- Store in the refrigerator and allow the flavors to blend.
