The small size plastic tote boxes are no longer manufactured so we have started using waxed cardboard boxes for the small size CSA box. These boxes are 100% re-usable so please return them with your next pick up.
Some CSA pick up sites are provided with an exchange box, usually an unwaxed, white cardboard box but can sometimes be in a plastic tote. The exchange box will always be in a different type of box than the CSA boxes. Please look carefully as some subscribers are taking home the wrong box. Additionally, the exchange limit is no more than 2 items.

Acorn squash is extremely nutrient-dense for its size, but also has a diverse range of nutrients. It is rich in dietary fiber, like most fruits and vegetables, while also being very low in saturated fat, cholesterol, and sodium. In terms of vitamins and minerals, acorn squash has significant levels of vitamin C, vitamin A, thiamin, pantothenic acid, and other B-family vitamins, and its range of minerals is truly impressive, including potassium, magnesium, manganese, iron, copper, phosphorous, and calcium.
